Who is eligible to receive services and training?
If you are a Citizen or Resident of New Zealand (if not, you still can receive services, through self-funding).
If you are currently receiving support from the following:
ACC
Individualized Funding (IF)
Work Bridge / Support Funds (SF) - MSD
If you are currently employed
If you are pursuing employment
If you are requiring assistance for job maintenance/retention due to changes in vision
If you are currently enrolled as a student or getting ready in attending school
If you are a Senior – based on your needs at assessment, we will explore how to obtain funding for your training and services.
What to expect after I apply for services?
Our Rehabilitation Counselor/Social Work, and/or Rehab Specialist will first initiate a Comprehensive (Intake) Assessment to identify your needs.
They work closely with you to support determine your individual and/or job-related goals and to identify and arrange for appropriate services that will be needed to help you achieve these goals.
